7 mainland airlines to open branch offices in Taiwan

Taiwan authority of economic affairs has approved the requests of seven mainland airlines to open local offices on the island, chinanews.com.cn reports.

The seven airlines are Air China, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines Xiamen Airlines, Hainai Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines and Shandong Airlines. The airlines will spend about US$380,000 to open the offices.
