Mainland banks lend 700b yuan to Taiwan-funded enterprises(Xinhua)
Updated: 2008-03-03 15:12 BEIJING - Major commercial banks of the Chinese mainland extended more than 700 billion yuan (US$98.5 billion) to approximately 6,300 Taiwan-invested businesses over the past three to four years, according to Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. China Development Bank lent 8.35 billion yuan to 91 Taiwan-funded projects last year. |
