China is China. A big and ancient country like China, which has a history of more than 3,000 years, should keep and maintain her own Chinese culture and Characteristics.
China does not have to ape the "WEST" in their ways of life to be considered as modern.
Incidentally, westernization and modernization are two different things. Dyeing one's hair blond and speaking with a slang does not make one a westerner. Blind worship of anything western is plain stupidity.
