Moderate earthquake rocks seas south of Taiwan(Xinhua)
Updated: 2007-08-29 14:43 HONG KONG - A moderate earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolts the seas south of Taiwan at 0117 GMT Wednesday, the Hong Kong Observatory said in a news bulletin Wednesday. According to the Hong Kong Observatory, the epicenter was initially determined to be at 21.8 degrees north latitude and 121.4 degrees east longitude, about 110 kilometers south-southeast of Taitung, China. |
