BEIJING - Chinese shares fell for a second day Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index sliding 1.06 percent, or 24.59 points, to end at 2,284.91.
The Shenzhen Component Index declined 0.49 percent, or 46.25 points, to 9,309.23.
