Inside BMW World, the customer experience center in front of the auto giant's headquarters

BMW Group brings a galaxy of star models to the 2010 Beijing Auto Show, including the BMW 550i xDrive Gran Turismo as well as the unparalleled BMW 760Li Individual grand limousine, the young and stylish BMW X1, the world's first premium sports activity vehicle in the compact segment, the Z4 Roadster, a perfect combination of dynamics and aesthetics, the distinguished BMW 6 Series convertible, and a colorful and exciting Mini, including the electric Mini E, the limited edition Mini Cooper S Camden to mark the brand's 50th anniversary and the Mini Cooper Clubman Cheer.

The group sold 1.29 million cars and more than 87,000 motorcycles worldwide in 2009. Its profit before tax was 413 million euros ($546.6 million) on revenues totaling 50.68 billion euros ($67 billion).

At the end of 2009, the group had a workforce of about 96,000 employees. Long-term thinking and responsible action have long been the foundation of the group's success.

Striving for ecological and social sustainability along the entire production chain, taking full responsibility for its products and giving an unequivocal commitment to preserving resources are prime objectives firmly embedded in the group's corporate strategies.
