Q: At present, there are some websites to do online education vertical to IT field. Is it optimistic for IMOOC in this competetion?

A: We also did a survey about this aspect. At present, there are few websites mastering the IT skills training. Even though they have certain characteristics, they have limitations too. Their overall strengths are relatively weak from the construction of websites to the operation service .Since the competitors of the field we chose are not very strong, we would have a better chance to succeed. We firmly believe that the company that do not focus on products will not last for long. We are still confident in the face of competition.

Q: What are IMOOC's advantages?

Our top concern is users' experience. Users demand programming practices while learning IT, and programming practices demanded by users. Our online programming function is a leading experience, which can be better based on the technology accumulation. Starting from the users, our contents must be acquirable and understandable.

Being free, as one of the internet's characteristics, can be said to be the most effective trump card of the Internet. We only focus on serving users, and only after users are willing to learn and able to learn can we consider business model.

Q: As IMOOC is a little young, at present, in what aspects is there still room for improvement?

A: At present, our curriculum are vertically focusing on the front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), PHP development. The course of each direction is divided into three levels: beginning, middle and high levels, which support programming languages including Java, Python, Ruby, and so on, and in the future, our curriculum must be extended to cover the whole field of IT skills. Its contents needs time to accumulate, because education is a slow industry which is unlikely to accumulate a lot of essence contents in a short period of time, but we have a clear plan to rapidly enrich the content. In addition, users' experience will be constantly improved from function, content, and other aspects. What we need to do is to really satisfy users' demands for IT learning products. That is the fundamental task.

Q: You have been repeating the user-centered perception for many times. What kind of experience does IMOOC want to bring to users?

A: we wish the users can acquire the knowledge, achieve their study goals, and improve their ability by learning on IMOOC.com. Through a series of encouragement, incentive, and acquisition feedback, the users can have a better understanding towards themselves，and have themselves recognized by themselves as well as others . That is our forever pursuit.
