The answer from about 80 percent of single women is a monthly salary of more than 4,000 yuan ($634), according to a survey released by a matchmaking service industry commissioned by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and Baihe.com, a domestic dating service website. The survey also suggests that 27.1 percent of single women think it's appropriate for a man to fall in love only when his monthly salary is more than 10,000 yuan.
