Vimicro says domestic sales to surpass 50% of total

NASDAQ-listed Chinese audio-video chip producer, Vimicro International Corp, expects its China sales to account for more than 50 percent of total sales by the end of this year, up from 40 percent now, its chairman said on Monday.

"Our domestic market is expanding, although our company is affected" by the global financial crisis, Deng Zhonghan told reporters on the sidelines of the annual session of the China's National People's Congress.
