Finance: Watershed sale(Shanghai Daily)Updated: 2007-03-28 13:37 China Water Industry Group Ltd will raise HK$318 million (US$41 million) by selling new shares to finance expansion plans. The company will sell 300 million new shares, a 16 percent stake, to at least six independent institutions or individuals at HK$1.06 per share by March 29, it said in a statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange yesterday. The price is a 1.9 percent discount to the HK$1.08 closing price of the stock on March 21, the last trading day before the share-sale plan was completed.
