Trade: Sino-Egypt trade ties to grow(Shanghai Daily)Updated: 2007-02-02 16:56 China will become Egypt's biggest trading partner within eight years, Al-Alam al-Yom said, citing Foreign Trade and Industry Minister Rachid Mohamed Rachid. China offers advanced technology at prices that are 30 percent to 40 percent cheaper than global prices, the Cairo-based independent business newspaper reported. Egypt will also benefit from a free-trade zone it's creating for Chinese companies, which will create jobs, Rachid was cited as saying.
