The local authority of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, in collaboration with Wuxi Shuofang Airport, transformed the departure lounge into a Spring Festival cultural station on Feb 3, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for travelers.

As a UNESCO City of Music, Wuxi extended Chinese New Year blessings through melodious tunes, and a lively intangible cultural heritage market added a splash of color to the bustling Spring Festival travel season.

The Yixing purple clay teapots, known for their stable, elegant design, beautifully capture the essence of Jiangnan in a compact form. Meanwhile, new Huishan clay figurines, with their endearing, cheerful expressions, symbolize wishes for happiness and peace.

Wuxi's Liuqing bamboo carving introduced a new horse-themed design for the Year of the Horse, featuring auspicious, adorable little horses that embody the gentle elegance of Jiangnan. Exquisite bead embroidery and blue calico cloth pieces showcase the creativity and beauty inherent in Jiangnan's water towns.

Travelers can also enjoy traditional cultural heritage snacks like Ren Family pear syrup candy and Hongfeng foot-stepped rice cake, both rich in the flavors of Chinese New Year.

Throughout Wuxi Shuofang Airport, vibrant "Go Wuxi" signs promoting consumption vouchers warmly welcome every traveler to the city.

From January to April, domestic and international travelers flying into or out of Wuxi Shuofang Airport or taking the Hong Kong-Wuxi high-speed rail can enjoy eight special offers on dining, shopping, and accommodations.
