Zhou Mi, senior researcher at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, stated in an exclusive interview with China Perspective that China is not only the "world's factory" but also a massive market full of opportunities for the globe.
Against the backdrop of rising protectionism worldwide, China's efforts in opening up market and increasing imports have made its market increasingly vital globally. "China's market is based on the super large population. We have so much diversity. And if we have a better and higher quality of development, I think the world will benefit from that." he emphasized.
