On the sidelines of the Global South Modernization Forum, Qian Chengdan, Boya chair professor at Peking University, praised China's comprehensive approach to modernization as reflected in the country's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) draft recommendations. He said that China's experience can offer valuable insights to other Global South countries as they pursue modernization.
