On October 18, Italian fashion brand Max Mara presented its Untamed Heroine 2025 Fall/Winter collection fashion show at the Future Lander Center, Beijing. This season's Atelier coat collection is inspired by female portraits, transforming bold and resilient images into timeless couture.

The collection draws inspiration from iconic women such as Diana Vreeland, Nina Simone, Maria Callas, Juliette Gréco, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, and "Little Edie" from the cult documentary "Grey Gardens"—Edith Bouvier Beale, the eccentric cousin of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. These women, both past and present, each individualistic and unapologetically original, challenged convention and redefined style on their own terms. Fearless and refined, their spirit forms the emotional core of this season's Atelier coat collection.
