Shanghai University leads global initiative
The second initiative introduces PUZZLE, an English-language scientific journal dedicated to publishing young people's scientific research and exploration results. Breaking away from traditional academic publishing conventions, the journal aims to provide an international platform for youth to showcase their scientific and innovative capabilities.
"Science and innovation education extends beyond merely understanding nature and seeking truth," Wang Congchun, vice-president of Shanghai University, said. "It stretches from 'discovery and verification' to 'design and implementation,' transforming knowledge into technology, products, and services that benefit society. This represents a crucial pathway in integrating education, science, technology, and talent development."
Liu Zhiqiang, senior editor at Periodicals Agency of Shanghai University, emphasized that PUZZLE's core mission is to ensure young people's research "gets discovered, utilized, and recognized." The journal welcomes contributions from talented youth globally and seeks partnerships with universities, research institutions, and relevant organizations.
