A series of cultural events showcasing northern China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region kicked off in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.

The 13th "Feel China" Inner Mongolia Culture Week, which started on Tuesday, aims to deepen cultural and people-to-people exchanges, enhance mutual understanding, further strengthen the traditional friendship between China and Mongolia, and contribute to building a China-Mongolia community with a shared future.

Running until this Friday, the culture week was co-organized by the Chinese embassy in Mongolia, Mongolia's Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, and the Information Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia.

The program features 18 activities across eight categories, including exhibitions, cultural performances, book and publishing exchanges, a Chinese song contest, traditional Mongolian medicine consultations, audiovisual showcases, and screenings of Chinese films on Mongolian television and in cinemas.

In addition to the opening ceremony for the culture week, a comprehensive exhibition, Carrying Forward China-Mongolia Friendship, Promoting Win-Win Cooperation, was held on Tuesday.

Over 300 representatives of government agencies, cultural organizations, universities, media, enterprises, and various social sectors in both countries attended the opening. G. Ochirbat, a member of the State Great Khural of Mongolia, was present, and Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia Shen Minjuan delivered a speech.

Following the ceremony, guests from both countries visited the comprehensive exhibition, which highlights themes of friendship and cooperation.

The exhibition blends culture, art and history, and is divided into seven sections — a China-Mongolia friendship history exhibition, a Chinese book display, calligraphy works, a photography showcase and a Mongolian medicine exchange. It revisits shared memories and vividly presents the richness of Chinese culture, fostering mutual appreciation and cultural exchange.
