The ceremony began at 10 am on Saturday. With the honor guards of the PLA standing watch, soldiers marched in unison, escorting the coffins of the 30 volunteer martyrs into the memorial square of the volunteer martyrs' cemetery in Shenyang. The national anthem was played and sung.
