Once a quiet farming community in Zhejiang's Jiaxing city, Honglian village is now buzzing with life. Thanks to land consolidation and eco-friendly upgrades, fields once scattered are today lush, high-standard farmlands. At the heart of this revival is the Dongxing dairy farm, where families from Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou arrive in droves — sometimes up to 30,000 visitors a day. Children feed calves, parents sample fresh milk, and local eateries thrive.

Village Party secretary He Linfeng says the transformation has turned Honglian into a model of rural vitalization, blending agriculture, tourism, and community development.
