Hainan to roll out independent customs operation

China's Hainan Free Trade Port will officially launch island-wide independent customs operation on Dec 18 after it secured approval by the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Wang Changlin, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at a news conference on Wednesday.
