In the climbing community, there's a saying: "Trust your feet". You only know if a foothold is stable and safe once you step on it. Similarly, it's important to gradually build an awareness of your body's capabilities and act within your limits. By knowing your body's strength, you can safely attempt less controlled positions while climbing. This way, even if you fall, you'll be able to do so in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury.
