China's State Council appoints new officials

BEIJING -- China's State Council announced the appointment of several new officials on Monday.
Zhou Haibing has been appointed vice minister in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission, replacing Zhao Chenxin.
Tong Lixin has been named deputy director of the General Administration of Sport. Wang Hong has been appointed vice-director of the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration.
