Fashion designer salutes older models on Intl Women's Day

World renowned Chinese-Dutch fashion designer Hu Sheguang is known for his bold designs and his commitment to empowering older women aspiring to shine bright on the runway by establishing the Sheguang Hu Fashion Women's Army in 2019.
More than 100 members of Sheguang Hu Fashion Women's Army, the average age being 65 and the oldest being 83, attended the World Fashion Goddess 2025 coronation ceremony at the Regent Beijing on Saturday on International Women's Day.
All the models strutted the catwalk in Hu's haute couture designs, sporting the red crown, a symbol of courage and wisdom. Hu presented each of them with a trophy to recognize the pursuit of their fashion dreams regardless of age.
