As early spring arrives, visitors to Tianchi Lake at the Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve in Jilin province have been lucky to view marvelous natural scenery.
Tianchi Lake, located at the top of the volcanic cone of the main peak of Changbai Mountain, is surrounded by snow under the blue sky. The lake usually freezes in December, and the ice melts in late June.
