The program is divided into three main chapters: "Inviting the Moon," "Awaiting the Moon," and "Full Moon," collectively known as the "Moonlit Trilogy". Through a seamless blend of various artistic forms, including dance, music, and spoken word, the show aims to explore and interpret the new significance of this traditional festival in contemporary society.
As one of the most important traditional Chinese festivals, the Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Sept 17 this year, is an evening of celebration where families gather to light lanterns, eat mooncakes and appreciate the round moon.
