LIVE: Xi'an Symphony Orchestra holds outdoor concert
This year's outdoor concert by the Xi'an Symphony Orchestra airs at 7:30 pm on Friday. Together with the orchestra, the Xi'an Symphony Orchestra Chorus and the Xi'an Concert Hall Children's Choir, renowned conductor Zhang Guoyong, tenor Wang Chuan and guan player Han Lei will deliver a classic artistic celebration for the big crowd.
Since its inception in 2013, the performance has been held for 11 consecutive years. It is an important initiative for Xi'an, capital of northwestern China's Shaanxi province, to promote the deep integration of culture and tourism and to strengthen the cultural construction, and it has already become an influential cultural brand in the country.
