The China Broadcasting Performing Arts Troupe staged a concert at the Handan Grand Theater in Handan city, Hebei province, on Oct 20, as part of its program to appeal to local audiences.

Featuring soloists from the troupe, the concert included the theme song from the movie,Beginning of the Great Revival, and In the Land of Hope, composed by Shi Guangnan (1940-90).

The China Film Symphony Orchestra also performed under the baton of conductor Zhang Bingbing.

The China Broadcasting Performing Arts Troupe is collaborating with the local government of Handan to bring performances, art educational activities and music training programs to the people of Handan.
