Watch it again: 2023 Adventures on Chongyang Festival
Join us for the cultural show 2023 Adventures on Chongyang Festival at 7:30 pm, Oct 22 (GMT+8)!
The program narrates the story of the protagonist climbing all the way to the top of a mountain to enjoy the autumn scenery, overlooking his hometown and achieving great wisdom through the whole journey of adventure. The concepts of mountain worship from Chinese culture and philosophy thinkings from the classic Book of Changes are revealed through the story.
Chongyang Festival, or Double Ninth Festival, will fall on Oct 23 this year. It includes many traditions like climbing to high places, admiring chrysanthemum flowers, drinking chrysanthemum wine, eating Chongyang cake and caring for the elderly.
