China's dynamic zero-COVID policy has kept the global industrial and supply chains stable and smooth, and helped drive the growth of the world economy, said Zhang Yesui, spokesman for the fifth session of the 13th National People's Congress, the country's top legislative body, on Friday.

Zhang said the country's anti-COVID-19 approach has worked in China's context, and it is the right way to go and the results are good. All the figures, such as the number of infections and fatalities and the economic data, showed that China is one of the countries that have been the most successful in curbing the pandemic, Zhang added.
