Drama in works to mark CPC's history
To mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, a professional seminar about a stage drama named — Tides Eastward — was held at the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC recently.
The drama tells the story of how CPC members, together with China's patriots from all walks of life, pursued the liberation of the country despite hardships and obstacles.
"It is an epic national drama showing how people from all walks of life followed the CPC to achieve final success," said Hao Rong, dean of the Central Academy of Drama.
The drama will be produced by the Dayou movie and television center of the Party School of the Central Committee?of the CPC together with the academy. Actors will be recruited starting on July 1.
The opening is scheduled for mid-November at the Party School.
