A concert titled "Symphony of the Silk Road" was streamed globally online to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China on Sept 18.

The concert was co-sponsored by China's embassy in Panama, Ministry of Culture of Panama and National Tourism Administration of Panama, as a way to deepen the friendship between China and Panama.

The concert was performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater along with Panama National Symphony Orchestra, as well as several renowned composers and artists from the two countries.
