China Daily asked ordinary people to give us their opinions about Confucius. The Chinese people we interviewed knew a lot about the ancient Chinese philosopher and his rules for living a good life. Foreigners were not so sure, but everyone knew something of the great sage and the Confucius Institutes established to teach the world about China's language and culture.
