Runway success
Shu Qi is one of Ramsay Levi's favorite actresses and she once used the soundtrack of the Taiwan star's breakout movie Millennium Mambo in the debut runway show for her 2017 collection.
After the Shanghai show, she told Vogue backstage: "I love cinema in general, and Chinese cinema in particular as it has become one of the greatest in the world over the past 20 years. Chinese cinematography has shaped my vision and since I decided to present my Chloe collection, I have watched so many movies with amazing feminine roles."
For this collection, the designer also visited Shanghai to "find the links" in January. She said she was impressed by the many layers and different scale of the city, with its juxtaposition of history, art deco and modernity.
