Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport launched a month-long food festival at its two terminals on Tuesday.
During the festival, eateries in both terminals will offer limited gourmet packages for passengers and host five promotional events related to Chinese cuisine, Shanghai local specialties, Western food, summer beverages and coffee. A discount of 8 yuan for purchases over 68 yuan will be offered by shops in Terminal 2.
"We have ensured that the food provided at the airport by any store will be of the same quality and price as those found elsewhere in the city," said Ge Zaixue, vice-general manager of the airport's commercial operation department.
