In his first manifestation as the lotus king, the king of Oddiyana, the Lotus-Born Master practiced the perfection of magnetizing energy, enhanced by the power of many Dakinis, female spirits who surrounded him with their positive energy. However, being a king was not enough. He wanted to master all forms of Tantric to access a multitude of energy fields. Like Lord Buddha before him, he left the palace and wandered among the yogis in the charnel grounds, engaging many yogic practices.

In searching for the second manifestation of Lotus-Born Master, we journeyed to the cremation grounds in India. In ancient times, there were seven sacred cremation grounds where yogis went to meditate. One of these cremation grounds was actually near the sacred Bodhi Tree where Lord Buddha was enlightened at Bodhgaya. Traditionally, yogis would go to the cremation ground for certain secret practices. Upon leaving the kingdom of Oddiyana, the Lotus-Born Master went to this cremation ground to engage in Tantric practice.
