Natures Organics Pty Ltd, an Australian manufacturer of plant-based household and personal cleaning products, vowed to spread a greener cleaning concept and products in China.

"We are here on a mission. It's not only a commercial mission. We hope local companies will copy what we do to preserve and sustain the environment and we hope people have clean, green and a natural way of living", said Ted Arlt, managing director of Natures Organics, during the China International Import Expo in Shanghai on Monday.

The company has the world's most complete range of plant-based household and personal cleaning products. It enjoys up to 70 percent of market share in its domestic market and it exclusively produces products of Household Cleaning 4.0.

Household Cleaning 4.0 is the era of modernized natural cleaning aids, combining modern technological means with the cleanliness that the nature gives so to clean with efficiency and convenience without bringing pollution to the earth and harming people's health.

China's economic development and people's living standards and way of life have given China the basic conditions to enter Household Cleaning 4.0, said Arlt.

Since the introduction of reform and opening-up of China 40 years ago, the economy has enjoyed remarkable development.

"What amazes me is the rise in prosperity of ordinary Chinese people. Every Chinese person has benefited from those reforms. That's made a big difference," said Arlt.

"I can see that life is getting better."

The CIIE was officially opened on Monday and will last until Nov 10. It is the first-ever Chinese fair focusing exclusively on imported foreign goods and services, and an important platform for foreign companies to forge closer trade ties with China.

"This event is on a very large scale. This is one of the most impressive expos I have ever seen."

"China has been Australia's largest trading partner and the relationship between the two countries is good," Arlt added.

Holding the expo is Chinese government's significant initiative to firmly support trade liberalization and economic globalization, and proactively open its domestic market to the world.

The expo also can drive economic cooperation and trade among countries and regions, and promote global trade and world economic growth to make the world economy more open.

More than 3,600 companies from over 172 countries and regions have confirmed participation in the event, including more than 200 firms on the Fortune Global 500 list and industry leaders.
