Intl Army Games in China open to public for free

BEIJING - The Chinese public will be able to watch three rounds of the International Army Games 2018 in Northwest China for free, by booking tickets at www.damai.cn, the army said Tuesday.
The International Army Games, initiated by the Russian Ministry of Defense, will start on July 28, with 28 competitions this year.
Four competitions will be held in China - three in Korla, Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, and one in Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province.
The competitions in Korla from July 29 to Aug 11 are open to the public.
Chinese armed forces will also attend another 18 competitions overseas.
China has been invited to take part in games for five years in a row, and started to organize part of the competitions in 2017.
