2018 graduates' designs from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology went on show in the capital city on April 16.

With the theme of "a better life" this year, the annual show, also called BIFT Fashion Week, presented about 2,000 works from 500 students.

The art-infused designs are the young talents' exploration of Chinese people's lifestyles in the present day.

The designers also tried to include Chinese cultural heritage, using many traditional cultural elements and patterns from ethnic people in their work.
