Beijing seeks int'l cooperation on security

Qiang Wei(L), head of the Olympic Security Coordination Group (OSCG) and
Ma Zhenchuan, head of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau have jointly
attended the news conference for the establishment of International Liaison
Department (ILD) and the launch of Beijing Olympic Security Website as well Jan,
15,2006.The new department, supervised by the 29th Olympic Games' Security
Command Center, is dedicated to liaising with foreign security forces to
help prevent terrorist attacks at the 2008 Olympics.[newsphoto]
